Eggnog

Carefully separate four pasteurized eggs.
Bowl #1:
Using a hand mixer, beat the egg yolks until they thicken and lighten in color. Gradually add 1/3 cup sugar and continue to beat until completely dissolved. Whisk in 2 cups whole milk, 1 cup heavy cream, 3 ounces of Jack Daniels, and 1 teaspoon of freshly grated nutmeg.
Bowl #2:
Wash the beaters, then beat the egg whites until soft peaks form. Sprinkle in 1 tablespoon of sugar and beak until stiff peaks form.
Stir bowl 2 into bowl 1. Chill and serve.
